Ring Size Guide

Making an informed decision: use the knowledge provided to determine your finger size.

This ring size guide is only a reference tool, for the most accurate result we recommend you get your ring size professionally checked.

Confirming Your Finger Size

Your ring should fit snug on your finger without any risk of it falling off. It should not feel too tight and not too loose. You do not want to be injuring yourself or applying too much pressure on the ring or your finger when putting it on or off. The ring should just be able to fit over the knuckle comfortably.

It is an important factor to check your finger size several times. To receive a more precise and accurate measurement on what finger size you are, it is recommended you visit a professional jewellery centre. During warmer temperatures your fingers will swell up and the opposite happens during cool temperatures your fingers will be at their optimum size. That is the best time to check for accuracy. It is recommended that you check over your finger size on several occasions, to ensure that you get the most accurate size.

Consider The Ring Type

Were you aware that the wider a ring is the bigger size is needed? Bands that are wider than usual, approximately 6mm or more require a larger ring size. Thinner rings give space for your skin to be moved around, which often leaves you with a 'ring mark' when taking off the ring.

Keep in mind, that not all rings can be resized to your desirable size. This often occurs with rings that have a relatively complex setting. To illustrate this, fingers that are small in ring size and need the size to be bought down may risk the setting. When decreasing size in a ring, the bottom of the ring is being taken out, this can pull the setting down and create an opening at the top.

Compose Several Checks :

Get your ring checked up regularly. Check them for wear and tear, analyse if there are any visible cracks in the band that may cause serious damage to the ring. It is always a good idea to examine your rings to ensure the ring is safe. If it gets to the point where the ring no longer fits your finger comfortably, it is time for a resize.
